Cox's Furniture

Cox's Furniture

Cox's Furniture, better known as Mrs. Cox's Maple Shop, was located at 4127 E. Belknap in Haltom City.
The store was originally started by R. B. and Vivian Cox in 1952. Vivian continued to run the store
after R. B.'s death in 1955 until 1993 when her health failed. Vivian Cox passed away in July of 1993.
After Vivian's death, the store was run by her son Robert Cox and his sister Viola Gingrich until 1997
when they decided it was time to let it go.
After the store closed, the building was razed and replaced with a small strip shopping center.
